wow went to see the movie Stardust with Ayee on Tues. was like so captivating and enchanting and funny la..
Stardust, from the pic, seemed like any typical romance flick, and i cant stand those, so it din occur to mi tt i would watch it. before Vivi told mi, i had nv even heard of it. she said it was nice and tt i had to go watch it, den Ayee asked mi if wanna go catch it tog cos she heard its nice too. so, after Tues msm, we decided to go Cine for some *Stardust*..
as soon as it started, i was mesmerised. it was like a comedy (i love comedies!), love story, and magic all in a movie, and it has like so many surprises waiting for you ard the corner can! most importantly, it has depth. not too confusing tt u cant comprehend, nor too simple tt u think ur watching a baby flick. i especially love the parts abt the ways the father and son cross the wall, the spell the black witch Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer) cast on the woman in the caravan tt she would neither see, hear or smell the Star (Yvaine by Claire Danes), the tradition and palace politics, the way the 7 princes are killed (one with the axe stil in his head! and the others are funny too!) and are re-united, the captain (Captain Shakespeare by Robert De Niro) and his crew and how they go "grrr!!" everytime, and of cos the very suave looking Tristan (Charlie Cox).. gosh he is sooo cute and charming when he smiles his lopsided grin can..
Captain Shakespeare and his reputation!
****4 stars for it! melmel loves Stardust!!
