todae is reli a roll of events!! like sushi!!

reached sch at 12.43pm todae, so was late for exactly 43 min! den attended lesson til like 1pm when R suddenly gave us a piece of paper and said, "ok u all can do the qns and gif it to mi ltr".. so i took the paper and on it was.. "Test 2".. u best lor R.. all of us dun even noe got test la!! so the next most commonsense thing to do was, leave la!! haha. man, no others can beat the timing of his students leaving his class nia.. few seconds and mi, ayee, evon, and mag were on our way to find available benches to studyyy..

and best lor. everyone was studying. so no available benches outside. in the end we had no choice but to head to megabites, which is like, an eating area more than a study room can.

we went in and i ordered a waffle ice-cream and we were crapping and studying before i started to get slpy.. so someone suggested bubble tea and i was like, "ya i wanna get", and it happened that evon and mag wanted to get as well. bubble tea was at the canteen outside of megabites so we had to go to the counter to pay. megabites is smth like marche, wher we haf a card each when we enter, they chop our orders on the card, and we pay when we leave. so we went to pay before getting outside.

when we reached the counter, i passed the auntie my card, den 10 bucks, and she asked mi for student card to get 10% off. so i searched my purse and realised i had left it in my bag. mag offered to show her card on my behalf and told the auntie we were fr the same class and stuffs, so the auntie said ok, that she'll gif us the 10% off. and the next thing tt took mi off-guard was, she asked mi to pay again! i was quite stunned cos i thot i had alr paid. but i couldn't be too sure cos i was like quite slpy. but i was super sure i had the 10 bucks in my hand a moment ago and it wasn't there alr. so i asked her, "i nv pay meh?"

auntie: no u haven pay.

*melmel frantically searches purse.. no money found*

melmel: auntie i pay alr.

auntie: no u haven pay.

melmel: no i paid alr. i passed u the card, then the money, den u asked mi for student card de.

auntie: but i dun haf any money. *shows mi her bare hands*. dun haf.

melmel: *stunned. dono what to sae*

auntie: u let others first.

*melmel steps aside*

*auntie finishes with others. stares at mi and i stare back at her. melmel alr has atm card in hand but not sure if she wants to pay 10 bucks extra for a waffle*

melmel: here got cctv? can check. i paid alr.

auntie: no. dun haf.

melmel: i jus gave u the money onli. u check. the note is a new note and folded in quarters.

auntie: *refuses to check*. i get so many notes. how i noe which one is urs??

melmel: *flabbergasted and disbelieving*

auntie: *relenting unwillingly with a stinky face* ok maybe i remember wrongly. *gives melmel change*

melmel: *takes change and walks outta megabites but feels wronged*

mag and evon were nice to console mi and sae that i shouldn't feel bad. so i tried to shake off the feeling and buy my bubble tea. after getting our drinks, mag went to the ladies while evon and i headed back to megabites. megabites has two entrances but the other one was closed during off-peak periods so i had to go pass the cash register with that auntie again.

when we went in, evon told the auntie that she din need the card cos she was jus taking her bag and leaving. den the auntie looked at mi, and i looked back at her and told her i needed a card. and she said, "u need card for what?" LOLXXX!!! arrr i was trying hard to control and not throw a fit at her, so i jus replied that i was still staying awhile. (even tho i wasn't getting anything else fr there.)

back at our table, mag realised that the auntie hadn't given her the 10% off like she shld haf, but decided to let the matter rest. after tokking and studying with ayee and mag for another 2 hrs or so, we decided to go back alr. and i had to walk past the cash register again. mag left first to get her book at the lib and ayee and i took our time. when i saw that there was now a different auntie behind the cash register, i was kinda relieved and passed my blank card to her before waiting at the side for ayee to pay for her stuffs. tts when i spotted THE auntie outside. when she saw mi, she immediately came in and asked, "gif back the card alr anot?" arrr i could reli explode man!! she was jus picking on mi and testing my patience la!!

luckily the moment she was outta sight, i was happily chatting with ayee again. so everything was ok again. we reached the bus-stop and soon after, i spotted my bus. i had jus bade goodbye to ayee and was jus right in front of the bus, nearing and waving at the open bus door.. and the bus uncle din see mi and closed the bus door right in front of my face before driving away!! the next thing i knew, i was giving a shocked scream at the moving away bus door! i couldn't digest the whole instant, but i was till clear-headed enough to realise i had screamed, and was feeling quite embarrassed cos there were not-a-small number of ppl at the bus-stop! i couldn't bring myself to look back to see if anyone had heard and known it was mi so i tried to act nonchalant and walked more to the front, pretending i was waiting for another bus instead.. man..

the bus journey was long cos of the jams, and it took ard an hr to get home. had to leave soon after to attend a wake.. church fren's mom.. kinda sad but at least his mom had alr given her life to the Lord, so we noe she's in safe hands and living well..

on the way home, sis and i were discussing.. like we nv want this kinda thing to happen.. at least not for a long long time.. it would be so hard to face.. B's reli strong to haf managed everything. our cell will continue to keep him and his family in prayer.

what a day.. thank mom for the dinner that was waiting for us when we got home. even tho we had alr eaten our fill and i told mom we'd haf the food for lunch the next day, the sumptious creamy potato, swedish meatballs, sausage with scrambled egg, and veg with scallops were reli hard to resist.. yums!! ^-^
