chill out! last day of exams!

hahaha after the last paper on wed, finally get to stretch myself and haf fun and relax without thinking of studies!! was sooo happy tt even before i sat for my paper, me and ayee had alr decided to hit town the moment i was done!

paper was at AJC so naturally, i felt SOPHISTICATED and MATURE when i got there hahaha! even overheard one AJCian commenting tt we were so studious lol! at that time, i reli almost LOL ok! okies so the paper was tougher than we all expected. and i almost gave up on the qns while i was still reading them, BUT! i was stil sooo happy when it was over!!

on the way to dhoby ghaut, i was like half dancing half smiling tt i probably looked a lil too happy, and even got one guy approached mi at amk hub to ask permission to noe me! i think he was jus as crack lol.

haha by the time i reached dhoby ghaut, i was alr impatiently waiting for ayee to come so that we could start our after exams shopping/enjoying/gorging extravaganza! she arrived soon after and we were reli no different from eating 'high' pills or whatever that is haha! we were crazily laughing at almost ething tt came by, and doing silly stuffs like playing with four chopstix and salivating over pics of food and waving high to the air to pretend to summon the waitress (she reli came!) and almost gg down to the atrium to join a kids performance with mi acting as the mother and she the mentality of a three year old. okies so the last one was a senseless and lousy script by me in a futile attempt to make ayee go down to watch the kiddy stuffs, but, it was fun cos we always end up luffing like mad tt day!

we begin our 'tour of the city' by first visiting Ajitei to fill our growling stomachs! and while waiting for the food to arrive, we did the chopstix and salivating and hand waving as mentioned above, PLUS a classic pic of ayee trying hard to grab the lip-licking super-delicious looking prawn maki (?) on the wall (shown below), but of cos it wouldn't even let her touch its sticky rice! how selfish can a maki get! tt was why i totally refused to take the photo with the selfish-looking salmon beside mi as well. what a load of crab! haha ayee was so spontaneously when i asked her to pose with the maki can!

ayee had the painstaking moment of choosing salmon and salmon, so in the end she ordered both salmon dishes! salmon rice and salmon salad! mel ordered a bacon cream spaghetti which was not bad at all! jus tt the bacon was so fat we were guessing it din exercise before it was slaughtered!


after filling our tummies, we headed straight for shopping! and we spent the next hour or so raving over bras and undies! that came to be the most part of the expenditure, after which we decided to tone down and jus window shop shoes. when the stores finally closed and we could shop no more, ayee and i voted for movie- kungfu panda or narnia- but realised that by the time the movie ended, we hadta cab home! we decided there were better alternatives. with movies out and no other plans in mind, we took the naturalistic way of gg to our next stop, and that was to stroll leisurely from dhoby ghaut to city hall.

along the way, we went into Chijmes and after walking for an hour, ayee brought me to this fantastic place at Swiss Hotel.. The Piano Bar! damn cool and romantic, it is situated at the 70th floor of Swiss overlooking the city half of Sg! with a modern outlook and the sounds of a totally romantic playing pianist with an equally (if not more) romantic sounding female vocalist. serving drinks from liquer to alcohol to cocktails to wines to beer and mocktails, the menu is for a drinking fanatic. ayee and i each ordered a mocktail, and whatever ur order, it comes with a free flow of nuts and chips. not surprisingly, these two foodies made the waitress refill our nuts and chips from the time we entered the place until we asked for bill and left! haha! we both made song requests but mine din get sung. we were guessing the vocalist or pianist din noe my songs. ayee's Love Me Tender was sung and 'exams over!' read out loud. it was sooo cool!

tho in a chilling place, we still managed to laugh crazy over stuffs.

interesting is tt for club/bar, it is New Asia for u on the 71st floor. heard ayee say its by the same management as Piano Bar=)
