THURS TO FRI!!

thurs GET SMART!

met jiamin and gladys at The Cathay to watch Get Smart! jiamin and gladys reached first so they went ahead to get the tix! unfortunately for them, jiamin at least, mi and sis were late and he hadta come outta the cinema halfway to pass us the tix so that we could enter, which made him miss part of the show! SORRY JIAMIN! THANK YOU JIAMIN!!

by the time we went in, they were showing the part where the male (Steve Carrell) and female (Anne Hathaway) leads were on the plane and female lead saw a dangerous guy and asked the male lead to use his willpower or sth to see the guy from the back of his head, and to which he replied her, "i'm onli rolling my eyes". so lame! but he managed to say it in a way that was funny as well haha!

overall it was pretty lame, but still funny at some parts, esp the baldie getting paper stapled onto his, guess what, BALD HEAD!! hahaha i jus wished that The Rock wasn't playing the baddie in the show. i like him!!



fri DISNEY MONOPOLY!

sun NEW STUFFS! [pictureless hahaha]

went shopping with sis at bugis cos she wanted to buy a watch, and she was thinking of getting a gd one, which would haf probably cost her a few hundred dollars at least! which reminds mi of a story which i like to tell etime it comes to branded stuffs haha!

scenario: frens and i were at a cafe having a peaceful night when female stranger approaches my female fren.

stranger: hi! can i ask where did u get that watch from? (pointing to fren's GUESS watch)

fren: huh? GUESS lah!

stranger: oh sorry sorry.. (red-faced, walks away quickly)

moral of the story? branded stuffs dun make u fly. rather, it could make u drop from the sky hahaha.

told sis that there are loads of watches at bugis, and when we went there after church on sun, sure enough! we spent all the way till evening jus walking bugis street!

we started off staring at and comparing watches from all the different stalls u could possibly find at bugis, den did some side-tracking and started staring at clothes instead! in the end, sis bought a skirt and dress even before she decided on her watch, and mi, who was trying hard to control my spending, couldn't help but buy two tops as well!

shall take pics with them and post sometime!!

sis managed to get her watchES, not watch but watchES, at two different stalls, with which she started exclaiming that the display piece looked better and she was even thinking of gg back to EXCHANGE HER NEW PIECE FOR THE DISPLAY PIECE!! MADNESS RIGHT!!

luckily sth stopped her before she trudged back to the stall to do so. my guess is either her aching legs or the make-u-into-mincemeat crowd. (whatever it is, THANK YOU!)

bought 2 tops and a skinnies online the other time, the skinnies appearing in my previous post and the tops arriving anytime soon!!

wed SUNTEC EVENT

babyvi came to find mi on my second day at suntec, so sweet of her!! pity i forgot to get pics!

we wanted to eat sth nice but couldn't manage to find an ideal place or food to eat, until she mentioned ZHA JIANG MIAN! we lurve the one at Asian Kitchen! (tts prob the onli food i like there- personal pref). the nearest was at citylink but we din wanna walk all the way there so we decided to scout ard suntec some more! it was a pleasant surprise to find a shop selling zhang jiang mian inside suntec, but our bubble burst when we found out that it tasted like normal mincemeat noodles. and we paid $10 for it can!! GAWD.

this teaches us that good food comes with a price! (but so does bad food, onli in a diff way.)

this is the last day of baby's term exams. enjoy ur hols darl!!

thurs LAST DAY OF EVENT!

jx came to find mi for lunch and coincidentally that day they were having the F1 girls event! so while walking along suntec, we saw skimpily dressed F1 girls approaching guys asking if they eat eggs! and if the guys said yes, the girls would proceed to ask them to eat their eggs! how disgusting is that!!

luckily for mi, the whole thing wasn't so bad cos i got to see XIAO TIAN SHI! hees he's pic is on my previous post! blatantly taking pic of him and oblivious to the girls.

after lunch, jx went off, and few minutes after he left, he smsed saying that the F1 girls approached him to eat their eggs too! EEE-YIKES!! he din oblige of cos haha.

tues SHOPPING FOR MOMMY'S PRESENT!!

sis and i scouted for mommy's gifts at PS and got her a nice baby pink top from Robinsons, as well as comfy shoes from Charles and Keith!! haha and i ended up buying a pair of specs for myself too!! (for pics of presents for mommy, scroll down!!)

loong came to find us and our original plan was to watch movie, but we ended up eating dim sum at farrer park instead!! sis went home after getting the gifts and din join us for foodsss

thurs CENTRAL BRIEFING

hees had some last minute briefing for the work at Central den jiamin came over to discuss taiwan and our work schedule!! as usual, we were watching tv and by the time he went back, it was morning again!! hahaha okies ard 1am i think. still, thanks JM for coming over!!=)

fri WORK AND MOVIE!!

after my first day of work at Central, rushed down to meet babyvi at cine, den jiamin came by with sis and gladys and fetched mi and baby to amk hub, where we all watched ZOHAN!!

sis jiamin gladys and i had planned to watch the show at cine, however, when i got there, they onli had the first row left!! we decided to head to cine instead. baby had oso wanted to watch it with her frens at cine, but in the end watched with mi sis jiamin and gladys at amk hub despite her living so far!!



its pretty funny at certain parts i must say!! tho a tad too perv so i just looked away when i was anticipating those perv parts haha. there was one group of guys who were so amused that they kept luffing super loudly and one even started tokking abt the movie part outta nowhere!! kinda freaky that guy~ makes mi feel a lil sorry for Adam Sandler when i see him act those scenes~

baby hadta cab back cos it was late by the time the movie ended and she had work the next day, and i was pretty worn out myself, but a REALLY BIG THANKS TO JIAMIN FOR COMING ALL THE WAY TO ORCHARD TO FETCH US DESPITE THE WEEKEND JAMS!!
