Yip Mun yesterday, best show i've watched in a long time. About how Yip Mun was trying to teach Wing Chun, which wasn't famous at that point of time. Until one day Liang challenged him to a duel, and Yip Mun won (obviously). Liang requested Yip Mun to be his master and brought more and students under Yip. He also created trouble for Yip, but turned out to be a blessing in disguise when Yip fought and won other renowned masters and made Wing Chun one of the recognised martial arts.

At that time, Hung, the martial arts head, who had connections with the British, was biased against Yip. He tried to prevent Yip from gaining public recognition for Wing Chun by personally duelling with him and not taking any action when his students caused trouble at Yip's practice place, causing Yip and his students to lose his rights to carry out further practices on the rooftop.

Yip was furious and went to confront Hung. He managed to tone Hung's attitude towards him when he mentioned family ties. When Yip and his students were practising in the open the next day, Hung came by and invited them to a boxing event that he was organising.

That was when everything took a turn. Hung was killed by the British champion in the boxing ring, and Yip set out to beat the obnoxious champion to teach and spread Chinese culture and values, as well as stand up for Chinese kungfu on behalf on Hung.

I did not know half of what was going to happen, so i was literally! kept to the edge of my seat until the show ended. The emotions were so strong and the fighting so good that the live audience in the cinema cheered when Yip won! I loved the part at the end when he defeated the boxer. It was phenomenal.

5 more working days to go! Can't wait for the weekends!
