SUPER TAIWAN!! PART OF DAY 01!

can u believe that even at this moment, on the day we were flying off, i stil cant believe im REALLY REALLY REALLY GG TO TAIWAN!! cos before this, there was alot of complications about the dates to go, parents to take leave, maps to get, hotels to stay in, transportation, places to visit, and loads loads more!! especially when most of the stuffs on taiwan found online were in chinese!! it was sooo difficult for us to plan everything cos we did our own itinery and there were alot of things that weren't cfm with us from the taiwan side as well. we coudn't even tel if we were really gg to get there until the big day itself! in the end, we had to tell ppl, "we MIGHT be gg to taiwan", and not, "hey! we're gg to taiwan!! "

BUT! the agony was finally put to a stop when we managed to get INSIDE the transit,

and INSIDE the plane!!

haha 4 hrs and 22 minutes din exactly FLY by, but FINALLY FINALLY we could say..

WELCOME TO TAIWAN!!

yes! we were sooo excited!! some random pics along the way..


we were staying at Rainbow, our hotel, and this is our room!! it was supposed to be for 4 but there was non available so they gave us a room for 5 instead!! so spacious and has 2 TVs!!


the famous XI MEN DING!! our hotel was right in the hub of the shopping district and it was the most happening place to be! a pity our timing was a lil off cos jiamin and gladys got to be 1 metre away from my MR PIGGY jus the night before we reached!! haha mr jiamin msg mi all the way fom taiwan to say MR PIGGY jus walked past him!! ahhh!!


we din waste any time at all!! after marvelling at the room for awhile, we immediately set off for SHILIN NIGHT MARKET!! it was at JianTan train station (ohs in taiwan they call it 捷运, which is our mrt) and the 捷运 was onli 2 min walk from our hotel!

there's the train station personnel, and u wanna guess his job? haha its to blow the whistle in a different sounds and length to alert the commuters when the doors were closing and when it has closed!! so cute!


commuters haf to line up to enter the train!! they are so well taught ok!! no pushing or squeezing past each other!!


and yes, we had to do so too. so obedient right!

haha we had arranged with jiamin and gladys to mit them since we were all in taiwan and they were gg back the day after!! and where else better to mit than in the most popular shopping place in taiwan!! after sis text them to let them noe we had arrived, they rushed all the way from the other end of SHILIN to the mrt to mit us!! aww.. i jus had to take a classic pic of both of them! can u see jiamin pointing to his watch to indicate they had rushed down as fast as they could, and gladys wiping her perspiration with her tissue? hees they're sooo niceee!!
